 Strolling carolers, horse-drawn carriages, and twinkling Christmas lights fill the streets of Brevard for its annual Twilight Tour on the evening of Dec. 1. From 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. downtown becomes enchanted with the sights and sounds of the holidays, inviting visitors to spend the evening shopping among our local merchants.Twilight Tour activities start after the Christmas parade passes through downtown mid-afternoon on December 1st. The Christmas Parade is sponsored by the Brevard/Transylvania Chamber of Commerce. For more information, call 883-3700 or visit the Chamber website. Live musical entertainment, food vendors and craft booths will also be part of the event. Activities for all ages include visits with Santa, elf school, an ice skating rink and carriage rides.  Many of the shops will be holding open houses that evening - featuring special sales, refreshments and entertainment inside their businesses. The Twilight Tour is a project of the Heart of Brevard.
